Investors in People Scotland Ten Year Achievement Awards
The Ten Year Achievement Awards recognise the achievement of the organisations who have demonstrated a consistent belief and commitment to their people for more than 10 years. Investors in People Scotland introduced the awards because we know that good people management and development is not a one off, and keeping Investors in People in place is not simply about having the plaque on the wall, but is a state of mind about the importance you place on your people.
This is reinforced by research which shows that the return on investment from working with Investors in People accrues with time. The longer your involvement and commitment, the higher the return in terms of business and organisational performance.

The 2007 Ten Year Achievement Awards took place on Thursday November 29th at Stirling Castle. After the fantastic success of the 2006 awards, the event included a champagne reception, a dinner and ceilidh. Nearly 300 people attended the celebrations and feedback from the evening was very positive.
All organisations who reached their tenth year of recognition in 2007 were offered two free places at the event to collect their award with additional places and tables available for other attendees. Some of the presentation photography from the evening can be viewed below.
The sponsors of the 2007 Ten Year Achievement Awards were Scottish Enterprise, Highlands & Islands Enterprise, and Hudson.

2006 Ten Year Achievement Awards
We held our third Ten Year Achievement Awards at Stirling Castle on 9th November 2006, and we were delighted that 75 organisations in Scotland achieved their tenth year of Investors in People recognistion in 2006. 200 people attended the event and we have had very positive feedback on the evening and also press coverage on the award winners.
Some of the photographs of the evening are below.
The event was a double celebration as Investors in People celebrated its 15th birthday in November 2006. More than 4,000 Scottish companies or organisations in the public, private and voluntary sector are working with the Investors in People Standard. This is a major achievement in our first 15 years, and Investors in People Scotland are proud that so many businesses, councils, schools and voluntary groups have chosen to follow the Investors in People route.
Our sponsors for the Ten Year Achievement Awards were Highlands & Islands Enterprise , Scottish Enterprise and Investors in People UK.
