The National Training Awards 2008

The National Training Awards celebrate and share excellence in practice by identifying how employers, providers, partnerships and individuals have applied learning and development in order to create impact and achieve success. Winners will share best practice and inspire others to invest in learning and development as a route to being world class.

Scotland's awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 30 October 2008 at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. This star studded event will showcase the very best in Scottish training talent and comedian Fred MacAulay will once again preside over the evening.

The awards which will be presented during the ceremony include:

 

Large, Medium and Small Employer Awards

The awards seek to acknowledge and celebrate employers' commitment to training and development and how this is creating impact and achieving success.

Partnerships and Collaboration Award

This award celebrates collaboration in practice and through applying a collaborative approach achieving success.

Providing education and training award

This award recognises a providers commitment to offering a quality training and development service and how this is creating impact and achieving success.

Individual Award

The Individual Award acknowledges and celebrates an individual's commitment to training and development and how skills based improvement is creating impact and achieving success.
