Culture and Communication
What is Culture and Communication?
Culture is the 'way of life' in your business, and communication the way your business shares information; you, your team, the team with each other and the company with its outside world, including your clients and suppliers.
How does this benefit your business?
Aligning the way your business communicates with your business culture ensures the identity you present to customers and clients is unified and clear. This creates continuity in your communications internally and externally, cementing your identity in your marketplace.
What does the Programme provide?
The Improvement Programme provides a structured process and resources to assist you in identifying and exploring what it takes to build a culture that is right for you and your business, and achieving your goals through positive communication.
How does it work?
The Culture and Communication management practice is delivered using three key convenient tools:
One-to-one support
An advisor, with expertise in your industry, will get to know you and your business personally in order to understand your current business culture and lines of communication.
Throughout The Improvement Programme you can arrange up to four visits from your advisor at times that suit you. You can discuss your challenges, ask advice and form your plan in confidence with professional support.
The Culture and Communications workshop
A one-day workshop is also provided to demonstrate:
| How to create a positive culture in your organisation. | |
| How to build and maintain good communication. |
It also helps you to:
| Understand how to ensure roles in your business are clear. | |
| Have ideas for involving people to gain their commitment. |
The workshops are successful because they let you switch off from your business so you can think openly, creatively, and strategically about your business. You can network and 'compare notes' with other businesses in your region, which can give you an extra level of peer support.
Online support
You're busy, and we understand that, so we've developed an interactive resource as part of The Improvement Programme to provide unlimited access to information, advice and support. Please visit IIP Interactive.
